Henry Stewart - chair Henry is the founding director of Happy Computers, a computer training company which has 40 staff and an annual turnover of just under £2million. The company’s largest client is the NHS, for whom they provide an e-learning service. In 2003 Management Today rated Happy as the best company in the UK for customer service. In 2004 the Financial Times placed them in the top dozen in its 50 Best UK Workplaces. Zelal Baccus Zelal is a senior trainer at Happy Ltd. She is responsible for delivery of government funded training provision and for developing emotional literacy and training certification programmes in the company’s new Happy People division. Toby Eccles Toby Eccles is secretary of the Commission on Unclaimed Assets (www.unclaimedassets.org.uk). He was previously director of research for venture philanthropy organisation ARK (www.arkonline.org). Anne Deering Anne is a vice president of global management consultancy firm A.T. Kearney, where she works with senior executives on leadership, team development, organizational learning, and strategy. She is co-author of The Partnering Imperative: Making business partnerships work and Alpha Leadership: Tools for business leaders who want more from life. Rob Faulkner – treasurer Rob Faulkner is a qualified accountant and consultant with professional management company Mace Limited (www.mace.co.uk) Susie Orbach Susie Orbach is a psychotherapist and writer. In 1976 she co-founded the Women's Therapy Centre in London and in 1981 The Women's Therapy Centre Institute in New York. She is a visiting professor at the London School of Economics and has worked as a consultant to the World Bank. Peter Sharp Peter became a principal consultant with professional support services group MouchelParkman in 2002 following five years as principal educational psychologist in Southampton. He is the author of Nurturing Emotional Literacy: A Practical Guide. Jill Whitehouse Jill is a corporate lawyer and entrepreneur. She was one of the two lead partners at legal recruitment agency QD Group until it was sold for £48 million to TMP Worldwide in 2000. |
